Molly McDowell-Burns
Molly McDowell-Burns PhD, IMFT-S, LPCC-S, RPT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor specializes in marriage/couple and family therapy. Molly is the owner of Family Connection 9, LLC. She is an independently licensed marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, and registered play therapist. She has worked extensively with families, couples, children, and individuals dealing with diverse clinical issues. Molly specializes in treating Borderline Personality Disorder from a systemic lens to address the complex needs and issues this population possesses. She emphasizes a relational component when treating BPD as she feels it is an essential part of the healing process. Her particular interests include working with couples to create stronger and healthier relationships with a strong emphasis on communication, conflict resolution and appropriate relational boundaries. She also enjoys working with children/adolescents/teenagers to help them have more effective coping skills, stronger self-esteem, and better relationships with parents/guardians. Molly also enjoys working with individuals, particularity emerging adults (18-24) and women, to empower them and help them find their “voice” in the world. Molly received her doctoral degree at The University of Akron in Counselor Education and Supervision with a focus in marriage and family therapy and currently teaches Masters and Doctoral classes at North Central University. In addition to her clinical and academic aspirations, Molly supervises clinical trainees working towards licensure as part of her mission to help train and advance the profession of couple/marriage and family therapy. Because of this, you may begin your therapeutic relationship with one of her highly trained supervisees working towards their independent licensure. This means that your case will be discussed in supervision to ensure you are receiving the best possible care.

Sherrie Schneider is a counseling intern with Family Connections of Wadsworth. In addition to completing her clinical mental health training, Sherrie has a master's degree in school counseling, a master's degree in school administration and a bachelor's of science in special education. Sherrie is currently accepting and looking forward to working with clients at all age levels. Some of her specialties areas are; academic difficulties, addictions, ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional processing, general mental health concerns, family and partner relationships, socialization disorders, trauma. In her 25 years of experience, Sherrie's expertise ranges from high school counseling, mentoring, assisting students with various school related issues, as well as inclusion and self contained teaching. She is a member of the American Counselor's Association, National Collegiate Scholars Society well as National Society of Leadership and Success.

FEES
The initial session is $185 and subsequent treatment sessions for individuals are $150. All sessions are 50 minutes long. Sliding scale fees can be arranged on an as need basis. Fees are expected at the beginning of each session.
Please always call your insurance to make sure you have Mental Health coverage and to check on your deductible.
